Our Academics

SQS is a residential school that admits students of all genders, starting from grade 5 and continuing through grade 12.              Our curriculum emphasizes four core areas: Hifzul Qur'an, Qur'an and Science, Thayseerul Qur'an and Islamic Studies, complemented by standard school education and extracurricular activities. Our customized approach tailored to each student's time and skill requirements, enhances their learning experience.

CURRICULUM

‌Hifzul Qur’an

Students are guided to memorize the entire Holy Qur'an, dedicating an average of 20 hours per week under the supervision of skilled instructors. Depending on individual capacity, students learning an average of 2 ½ to 10-pages per week and complete memorization within 6 months to 8 years, Insha Allah. Daily revision sessions are mandatory, and parents are encouraged to support this practice during vacations.

‌Qur’an and Science

From grades 8 to 12, students explore the integration of science and the Qur'an, fostering a research-oriented mindset. With 4 hours of weekly training and interactive sessions with experts, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the Qur'an's scientific, historical, economic and social dimensions.

‌Islamic Studies

To provide a broad perspective on Islamic teachings, we follow the Majlis-ul Ta'leemil Islami syllabus for grades 6 to 10, dedicating 9 hours per week.

Thayseerul Qur'an

This course helps in learning Arabic language and thus making understanding the Qur'an easier. Using an expanded version of "Understanding Qur'an," students from grades 6 to 9 receive 2.15 hours of weekly instruction.

‌Extracurricular Activities

we ensure students are mentally, spiritually and physically healthy. Daily speeches, mentorship programs, art exhibitions and sports facilities including football, volleyball, badminton and indoor games enrich students’ life. Training in activities like Khutba and Karate/Judo, along with swimming classes further enhance their development.

We follow the Kerala government syllabus from grades 5 to 12, along with our specialized training.
